Strange Hands are from Bordeau, France which most people associate with grand cru’s, not psychedelic garage rock. Strange Hands are here to change your mind, or at least provide some kick-ass music to listen to while you wait for your Petrus to decant. The album is called Dead Flowers (nice Rolling Stones reference) and is a co-release between Italy’s Shit Music for Shit People and French label Azbin.

Ty Segall and Tim Presley aka White Fence put out more records than I can keep up with. They’re like little Robert Pollard Juniors running around writing songs and releasing them as fast as they can. Hell they even got together and made a record together and called it Hair. Easy Ryder is from that record and it’s the best thing I’ve heard from either of them in quite a while.

I saw Seattle’s Universe People Thursday night opening for Evening Meetings and I shot this blown out video with my ancient camera. Universe People are my new favorite Seattle band. Chicago’s Panda Riot return with a new 7-inch on Saint Marie Records. Their sound has a bit more gravitas this time out and they’ve got a seriously cool song in the excellently titled Serious Radical Girls.
